Carl Sokolowski

Carl Sokolowski grew up in Southington, spent ten years as a Navy enlisted man, then graduated from Yale and Yale Law School and returned to Southington to practice law.

His Navy years were spent mostly in the Atlantic Fleet, with a tour also in Eritrea, East Africa. He met and married his wife Melita when she too was in the Navy. They have three daughters and eight grandchildren, who live in Florida, Virginia and Connecticut.

Carl has been a member of the Rotary Club of Southington for about 25 years, and is a member and past chairman of the board of directors of Bradley Memorial hospital. He served for 23 years as Southington's Judge of Probate. Now he is in general law practice in Southington and serves as Southington's Town Historian.
